Qlik Environment, Wrapped
Qlik Environment, Wrapped is a one-click health report that shows how much of your Qlik tenant is actually protected by version control — and which apps are most exposed if something breaks.
What it does
Gitoqlok can scan every app you can see in your Qlik tenant and turn that into a single-page report that answers one question: if a published app breaks tomorrow, can you get it back?
The report shows:
- The share of apps in your tenant with no version history at all
- How many published, frequently-reloaded apps were edited recently but still have no restore point
- How many unprotected apps belong to an owner who's no longer active in your tenant
- The apps most at risk right now — published, actively reloading, and never versioned — sorted by how recently they changed
- Why it matters in plain terms: no way to roll back a broken app, no audit trail of who changed a KPI and when, and no safe handover once the person who built it leaves
You can export the report as a PDF to walk into a conversation with your manager with actual numbers instead of a hunch.
Where the data comes from
Everything in the report comes from two places:
- Your own Qlik server/tenant — the app list, publish status, reload schedule, and (if you have tenant admin visibility) the user directory, fetched the same way the rest of Gitoqlok already talks to your Qlik Cloud or Qlik Sense Enterprise server.
- Your own connected Git provider — commit history, but only for apps you've already linked to a repository through Gitoqlok.
Nothing is sent to Gitoqlok's own servers, and no AI is involved in generating the report — it's plain counting and filtering over data you already have access to. The scan runs entirely in your browser, and the report itself stays on your machine unless you choose to export or share it.
If some data can't be read — for example, you're not a tenant admin, so the full user directory isn't visible to you — the report says so plainly on the page instead of guessing or quietly showing an incomplete number as if it were the whole picture.
Where to find it
Open your Qlik hub
Go to your Qlik Cloud hub or your Qlik Sense Enterprise hub — the report is available on both. You'll see a light blue "How's My Qlik?" button in the bottom-right corner of the page.
Click How's My Qlik?
Gitoqlok starts scanning your tenant right away. A small message near the button lets you know it's collecting app, reload, and version-control metadata — this usually takes under a minute, and you're free to keep working while it runs.
Review your report
Once the scan finishes, the report opens automatically in a new tab: your tenant's overall protection score, the apps most at risk, and why it matters. Click Export PDF at the top to save or share it.
Turning it off
If you'd rather not see the button on your hub, hover over it and click the small × that appears — this hides it right away and remembers your choice. You can bring it back anytime from Options → Git Servers → Feedback → "Disable Qlik Environment Wrapped feature in Qlik."
